Creating an Exceptional Sales Meeting Experience

The Challenge

In early 2022, after a long period of COVID-related cancellations and restrictions, innovative medical device maker, Sight Sciences, was eager to invite team members to an annual national sales meeting – the company’s first in nearly three years!

A lot had changed in those three years. The team had grown significantly since their 2019 national sales meeting, and they were faced with a larger, more complex task of bringing together and engaging over 200 colleagues – many of whom had never met each other face-to-face – and some scientific advisors, from across the U.S. and western Europe for a four-day event. That event was meant to achieve two main objectives:

  • To educate and train the sales team on how to promote technologies, procedures, and clinical data to solve emerging marketplace challenges
  • To deliver fun teambuilding activities to foster collaboration and introduce new faces

Sight Sciences turned to us to plan, coordinate, and manage every aspect of this critical 2022 National Sales Meeting in an effort to exceed their objectives. We responded by delivering an event to remember

Our A2E Solution

Leveraging our team and network of accomplished and creative marketing and event management specialists, we built a truly customized and unique event from the ground up by developing the theme, “Our Time is Now.”

In true partnership with our customer, we secured the ideal meeting venue, partnered with the right travel vendors to make all attendee arrangements, developed the event schedule, designed and managed the stage setup, produced the entire array of digital content, brainstormed and coordinated the teambuilding activities, planned every meal, and even formulated a COVID protocol in case testing supplies were needed.

We also worked in partnership with a digital application vendor to create an app for the event that mapped the entire experience for each attendee from day one arrivals through departures.

Sight Sciences was always kept in the loop on our progress and involved in the decision-making process through weekly status calls. We also provided an attentive and proactive onsite management team to handle any last-minute requests (such as swapping a dinner venue just hours before the reservation).

During the event, the main sessions were brought to life by exciting and innovative visual content developed by our team of specialists and presented on a massive, 40-foot wide, curved LED wall that stretched across the entire presentation stage. The high-tech digital canvas added incredible energy and a “Wow!” factor to the experience via stunning branded, themed videos and formal presentations. Additionally, we managed all aspects of the focused, yet fluid, agenda – from the opening remarks to the week-in-review wrap-up video created in our on-site video editing suite – to ensure we delivered on the key objectives.

The Outcome

For the first time in nearly three years, these client partners brought together its full sales force for an unparalleled, exciting, and educational event that motivated them to achieve greater success in the year ahead. By reconnecting with colleagues, meeting new team members, and learning together, everyone left the event feeling reinvigorated and appreciative of the company’s supportive, highly motivational culture.
